Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame – 2018 Inductees
November 14, 2017
The 2018 shortlist for induction into Cleveland, OH’s legendary Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame is out, and five Legacy artists are up for the honour. We need your vote!
The Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame is more than just a building in Ohio, it’s a who’s who of the finest exponents of the craft of Rock ‘n’ Roll.
Admitting just five new artists a year to its prestigious roll of honour, inductees will be ranked alongside the likes of B.B. King, The Sex Pistols and N.W.A in a celebration of Rock ‘n’ Roll’s diverse spirit and timeless power.
The 2018 intake features five Legacy artists and you can vote for them all every day between now and December 5th. Every vote counts so don’t be shy…
Eurythmics – [VOTE]
Genuine pioneers as well as bona fide superstars, Annie Lennox and Dave Stewart represent unassailable rock royalty, even as they tirelessly reinvent the medium, pushing the envelope in all manner of directions along the way.
Judas Priest – [VOTE]
The original Metal Gods, Judas Priest are almost single-handedly responsible for the sound of metal today. From their trademark twin-guitar attack, to Rob Halford’s operatic vocal performances to the sheer weight and velocity of their countless classics. Thanks to them, it’s a metal world.
Depeche Mode – [VOTE]
Endlessly inventive and ceaselessly innovative, Depeche Mode have spent their career establishing scenes and laying down styles before moving on just as quickly. Like a shark, Dave Gahan and co. are always in motion.
Rage Against The Machine – [VOTE]
Less a rock band and more a force of nature, Rage Against The Machine have been living and breathing their bold, uncompromising statement of intent nonstop since their 1991 inception, never once taking their finger off the pulse, or their boot from society’s neck.
Nina Simone – [VOTE]
Already the deserving recipient of a huge array of accolades, Nina Simone’s staggering voice soundtracked the Civil Rights movement, going on to define and redefine what it means to be an artist, and the world’s expectations of music.
